PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS
Here at the Academy we place great importance upon learning both the correct technique required to use the vocal instrument properly, and an understanding of music theory. We desire to have students learn how to sing correctly and understand the music they are approaching, regardless of style. Understanding music involves a comprehension of music theory, and we encourage every student to learn even the most basic concepts.

The direction of private lessons is often unique for each student, and determined by a combination the student’s musical interests and goals together with parental desires for music education and the student's level of commitment. 

Our goal is that each student who studies voice becomes a musician, not simply a singer who can impress friends and family by singing the latest pop songs heard on the radio. This is a process which takes time, but one is fun and rewarding!

VOCAL PERFORMANCE CLASS
Not quite ready for private lessons, but want to get the experience of trying out different vocal styles? Or perhaps you have only gotten to try a certain type of music up until now. Look no further! Our Vocal Performance class will give you the chance to learn many different vocal styles, to get performing experience in a low-key and non-threatening environment, and to learn proper technique and the mechanics of how your voice really works!
