Our Jazz
program includes classes with incredible faculty trained in the greatest
styles of American Jazz dance, including Giordano, Fosse and more! Our
upper level classes also feature Contemporary and Lyrical work (as seen
on "So You Think You Can Dance"). In addition, we offer special Lyrical
Jazz classes -- a beautiful, interpretive style that combines ballet and
jazz.

Social Dance & Ballroom
Why should the kids have all the fun?
Imagine gliding across the
floor in your sweetheart's arms, cutting a rug to Benny Goodman or Brian Setzer, or two-stepping the night away to your country favorites. PAA
offers Social Dance & Ballroom classes designed to teach adults to
dance... HAVE FUN! We teach basic partnering and all the great moves
you'll need to twirl the night away. We'll even teach you to slow dance
with the grace of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Classes are quick enough
to keep it movin' and slow enough to allow for plenty of practice time.
Don't think you have enough rhythm? Don't worry -- if you can walk,
you can dance!
Have a wedding in your future?
We can teach the entire wedding
party, from the happy couple to proud moms and dads!

Tap
Tap at PAA features the absolute highest quality training available for
dancers from ages 2 through 92! Come tap your toes with the finest
teachers around and learn not only great technique, but the history &
evolution of this classic American art form. PAA boasts the strongest tap
program in central PA, regularly hosting live tap jams, concerts with
international artists, and regular master classes with hoofers from all over
the world!

Theatre
With all of the current movie musicals and dance productions making a
comeback in Hollywood and on Broadway, dancers who can sing and act (also
known as "triple threats") are
highly valued in the industry! Our Musical Theatre classes are a great way
to improve self-confidence and learn the skills needed to make it in the
"Biz"!
