Well-known in the tap community as the former Artistic Director of Footprints Tap Ensemble and an established dance educator, Sarah Mason brings both sophistication and vitality to JDP. She currently is the director of the dance and theatre programs at Pennsylvania Academy of the Arts, and she also is the former advisor of Tapestry Dance Company, Penn State University's tap ensemble.

Sarah is a seasoned professional, having performed alongside the biggest tap names in show business today -- Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, Ted Levy, Mike Minery, and many more. Her credits include performing roles in numerous musicals, as well as extensive choreographic experience with professional theatre ensembles, colleges & universities, dance companies, community theatre groups, high schools and churches. She continues to actively study with her mentor, international concert tap artist Heather Cornell, on a regular basis.
